In this series, the state’s Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has also announced an outreach campaign ‘Jan Samman Yatra’ to promote many schemes benefiting women, youth, farmers and minorities. This is the reason behind starting the Jan Samman Yatra. Some time ago I presented the budget. I have 10 years of experience in presenting the budget. Therefore, while presenting the budget I keep rural and urban in mind. Therefore, I have to help those whose annual income is below 2.5 lakhs. Therefore, we brought the Ladli Behan Yojana.
Is Ladli Behan Yojana an election announcement? In response to this question, Ajit Pawar said that any government while working in the country always keeps in mind which scheme will get people support. For example, EGS (Employment Guarantee Scheme) was earlier in Maharashtra. After this, the central government took up that scheme. Which is now called MNREGA. First we brought Sant Gadge Baba Gram Swachhata Abhiyan. At that time, RR Patil and we were all working together, then this scheme was brought. After that came Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Sant Gadge Baba Gram Swachhata Abhiyan became very popular. Some villages became so good that there is no point in asking. People had participated in it. I had been thinking for a long time that people should be forgiven for electricity. Once this experiment was also done, but after 6 months it was withdrawn. After this, we brought this scheme again.

He said that today I have set out for the Jan Samman Yatra. I have told people that I can continue the schemes that I have started for farmers, youth and sisters. I have looked after the finance department for many years, so I know how to create resources.
CM Shinde is saying that he has brought the Mukhyamantri Ladki Behan Yojana and you are saying that you have brought the scheme? In response to this, the Deputy CM of Maharashtra said that this scheme has been brought by our Mahayuti government. I presented the budget. The cabinet takes the decision. Everyone prepared this scheme together. Everyone’s opinion was taken. After this, we have brought the scheme.
