ICC WTC Final 2025 Date schedule: The dates for the final of the World Test Championship 2025 have been announced. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced this. Lord’s will host the third season of the World Test Championship final from June 11, 2025.
The ICC today (3 September) confirmed the dates for the ICC World Test Championship final to be held next year. The Test will be played at the iconic Lord’s ground in London from 11 to 15 June 2025. If necessary, a reserve day has also been set on 16 June.

This will be the first time that the final of the World Test Championship will be held at Lord’s. Earlier in 2021 and 2023, the final venues were Rose Bowl (Southampton), The Oval (London) respectively, which were won by New Zealand and Australia respectively.
The match will be played between the top two teams in the table at the completion of the current cycle, with the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team leading the table ahead of defending champions Australia. Currently, New Zealand (third), England (fourth), Sri Lanka (fifth), South Africa (sixth) and Bangladesh (seventh) are in the top positions.
ICC CEO Geoff Allardyce expects there will be a huge demand for tickets among fans for this much-awaited event. Allardyce said – The ICC World Test Championship Final has become one of the most anticipated events in the cricket calendar and we are delighted to announce the dates for the 2025 season.
