‘I was allowed to speak for only 5 minutes, other CMs spoke for 20 minutes’, Mamata Banerjee got angry and walked out of the Niti Aayog meeting in the middle

The 9th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog is underway under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mamta Banerjee, who had come to attend the meeting, left the meeting midway making a big allegation. Mamta Banerjee has alleged that she was not given a chance to speak and was stopped within five minutes.

After coming out of the meeting being held at the cultural center of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I was allowed to speak only for 5 minutes while others before me spoke for 20 minutes, I registered my protest and came out.’

Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I said bring back the Planning Commission, I said give funds to Bengal and do not discriminate. I said when you run the central government, you should think about all the states. I was telling about the central fund that it is not being given to West Bengal, then they muted my mic. I was the only Chief Minister from the opposition states, they should have allowed me to speak. This is an insult to me.’
