‘I want to bring the tax to zero’, said Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who is trolled every time for the tax rates in the country’s budget, expressed her pain in Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal. She expressed her desire to bring the tax to zero. But she also cited the challenges of the country for not being able to do so.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who arrived to attend the convocation of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, while giving a statement about tax rates, said that she wishes to bring the tax to zero.

In fact, while addressing the convocation, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, “Many a times there comes a time when being the Finance Minister of the country, I have to answer the people that why are our taxes like this? Why can’t taxes be less than this? I want to bring it down to almost zero, but the challenges before the country are huge and the country has to overcome them.”

Let us tell you that during the 11th convocation at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman laid the foundation stone of the academic building and lecture hall of the institute and participated in the academic procession.
