‘I have full faith in Nitish Kumar…’, former minister Shyam Rajak once again joined JDU

Former Bihar minister Shyam Rajak has joined Nitish Kumar’s party JDU. JDU’s national working president Sanjay Jha gave Shyam Rajak the party membership. During this, many leaders including party’s state president Umesh Kushwaha and minister Vijay Chaudhary were present. Shyam Rajak had resigned from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on 22 August.

Shyam Rajak had given a deep message in his resignation from RJD on 22nd August by referring to chess and pieces. He had said that I was not an expert chess player. That is why I was deceived. You were moving the pieces, I was maintaining the relationship. He alleged that the development that should have happened in Phulwari Sharif did not happen, I am sad about this, the public is also sad about this. I had access to the kitchens of the people of Phulwari Sharif, but I regret the lack of development there.

Shyam Rajak attacked Tejashwi Yadav as soon as he returned to JDU. On the question of reservation, he said that agitations cannot be done by sitting in closed rooms. They should come out on the streets and sweat. Nitish Kumar conducted caste-based census in Bihar and decided to increase the scope of reservation. Now the matter is in the Supreme Court. He said that I have full faith in Nitish Kumar, so I am returning to JDU.

Who is Shyam Rajak?

Shyam Rajak is a six-time MLA from Patna’s Phulwari Sharif assembly seat. He was a minister in the Bihar government for 15 years. During this time he was given the responsibility of different departments. In 2020, he started a rebellion in JDU, after which he was expelled from the party. After this he joined RJD. Shyam Rajak was given a big responsibility in RJD and was made the national general secretary of the party. However, Tej Pratap Yadav opened a front only after Shyam Rajak’s entry.

Shyam Rajak is a well-known name in Bihar politics. He started his political career with the JP movement and then joined Lalu Yadav. During this time, he was also made a minister. However, later in 2009, he left RJD and joined JDU. After that, after about 11 years, he left JDU and joined RJD and now once again Rajak has joined JDU.
