There is news of a Bajrang Dal official receiving threats from the underworld in Banda district of UP. Due to which the family is in panic. The victim told that he received a call from Mumbai. The caller said that I am calling from the underworld, I will kill you and your entire family. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigation. Initial investigation revealed that this threat was given by none other than the victim’s cousin.
The Hindu leader had lodged a complaint at Banda police station, after which the police registered an FIR and started investigation. Since, before this, after the death of Mukhtar Ansari, the jail superintendent of Banda and a BJP leader had also received threats. Therefore, the police is on alert.
Actually, Ankit Pandey, a resident of DM Colony in the city Kotwali area, told the police that he is associated with Bajrang Dal. He received a call on his mobile phone the previous day. The caller said – Are you Ankit Pandey, I am calling from the underworld of Mumbai. I will kill you and your family. I will blow up the entire village with a bomb. I know everything.
Ankit’s entire family is scared due to this threatening call. Before this, a letter written in Urdu was also thrown in his house. It was written in it that you should not become too much of a Hindu leader, you have a hand in the demolition of Banda mosque. You will face the same fate as Kamlesh Tiwari of Lucknow.
After this incident, police was deployed for Ankit’s security. But now there is panic due to the threat call again. Ankit has demanded action from the police. In this case, DSP City Rajiv Pratap Singh said that Ankit Pandey, who is a leader of Bajrang Dal, has given a complaint letter in Kotwali Nagar. It has been said that he has been threatened with death.
Initial investigation revealed that the threat was given by his cousin. Taking immediate cognizance in this regard, a case has been registered. Further legal action is being taken.
