The uproarious session that has been going on for the past several days also echoed with laughter in the House on Friday. These laughters were heard in the Rajya Sabha when SP’s Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan called herself Jaya Amitabh Bachchan. In fact, recently she had objected to her name being called Jaya Amitabh Bachchan, but on Friday when she stood up to speak in the Rajya Sabha, she addressed the Chairman (Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar) by this name (Jaya Amitabh Bachchan).
Let us tell you that the entire House laughed on Friday. The matter was that as soon as Samajwadi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan said, ‘I am asking you Jaya Amitabh Bachchan… Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar burst out laughing as soon as he heard this. It is worth noting that Jaya Bachchan had recently expressed her displeasure over Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh calling her by her name.
‘You got a lunch break today…’, Jaya Bachchan asked a question
After this laughter stopped, Jaya Bachchan said that ‘I Jaya Amitabh Bachchan want to ask you whether you got a lunch break today. To this, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar replied in the negative. To this Jaya Bachchan said that ‘I did not get it. That is why today you are repeatedly taking the name of Jairam Ramesh ji. You cannot digest your food without taking his name.’ To this, the Chairman said that ‘Now let me tell you one thing, let me tell you in a lighter note, I did not take lunch during the lunch recess but after that I took lunch with Jairam Ramesh ji and took it today. On this, laughter echoed in the House again.’

Jaya Bachchan stood up and said something. On this, the Chairman said that no, I have probably not met any such couple. Jaya Bachchan said that oh, that is why I say it. The Chairman said that I am a very consistent person on serious issues and my past proves it.
