Hurun Rich List 2024: This city of India has the most billionaires, know which city is in second or third place

A new list of Indian billionaires has been released in the Hurun India Rich List. For the first time, more than 300 billionaires of India have been included in it. Gautam Adani has become the richest person in the country (India’s Richest Billionaire), leaving behind Mukesh Ambani. His total wealth has increased to more than Rs 11.6 lakh crore. The list states that the biggest reason for the increase in his wealth is the tremendous jump in the shares of Adani Group, which have climbed 95 percent in a year.

Another big disclosure has been made in the Hurun India Rich List (Hurun Rich List 2024), which tells which city of India has the most billionaires? According to the Hurun India Rich List, Mumbai is on top in terms of the number of billionaires. At the same time, 17 new billionaires have shifted to Hyderabad, due to which the total number of billionaires in Hyderabad has become 104 and Hyderabad has reached the third position. New Delhi is at number two, where 217 billionaires live, while Mumbai is at the top and 386 billionaires live here.

This billionaire is on top in earning the most
According to the Hurun Rich List, Hyderabad has overtaken Mumbai at number one, New Delhi at second and Bengaluru at third place. If we talk about the highest earning businessmen, Kumar Pritamdas Gera and family of Gera Developments are at the forefront, their wealth has grown by 566 percent, making them the highest earners in a year.

Which sectors made more money?
Hurun’s report says that the manufacturing sector has a lot of money to make. In this, 1,016 entrepreneurs associated with manufacturing have contributed an additional ₹28 lakh crore to their wealth this year. After this, the industrial products sector has 142 people, pharmaceuticals 136 and chemicals and petrochemicals 127. According to the Rich List, for the first time in history, more than 1500 people in India have assets worth 1,000 crores.

Radha Vembu is the richest self made woman
This year’s list has seen a huge rise in the number of self-made entrepreneurs, with a growth of 65 per cent to 1,008 entrepreneurs. Whereas last year this number was 871. The youngest self-made woman entrepreneur is 42-year-old Neha Bansal, co-founder of Lenskart, while Zoho’s Radha Vembu remains the richest self-made woman on the list.

This person is India’s youngest billionaire
Topping the list of India’s youngest billionaires is 21-year-old Kaivalya Vohra of Zepto. Zepto is a quick commerce startup valued at $5 billion. His co-founder, 22-year-old Adit Palicha, is the second youngest on the list. He is followed by Harshil Mathur and Shashank Kumar, co-founders of Razorpay, both aged 33.
