How to identify ‘fake news’ and ‘radical thinking’? The government of this country will teach school children

Major changes are going to be made in the school curriculum in Britain. Under these changes, school children will be taught to identify fake news and radical content. This decision has been taken in view of the ever-increasing right-wing riots in the country. Fake news is being blamed for these riots.

Britain’s Education Minister Bridget Phillipson said that she is reviewing changes in the curriculum of primary and secondary schools. In fact, under the new curriculum, children will be taught to identify fake news and online content related to radical thinking. This will promote critical thinking among children.

Phillipson said that we want to train children to be aware of the accuracy and truth of whatever they see or read online. They can be helped to learn how to differentiate fabricated things from accurate reporting.

He said that it is more important than ever that we provide young people with knowledge and skills so that they can be cautious about the content of what they see online. They can be protected from misinformation, fake news and hateful conspiracy theories spread on social media.
