Horrible road accident in Kaushambi… Former head dies in a head-on collision between two bikes

Two bikes collided head-on on Monday evening in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. The collision was so terrible that the former head died on the spot. People present at the spot informed the police about the incident. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem. As soon as the news of the death was received, there was chaos among the family members.

The incident took place near DDR School, Chakwan Road, Kokhraj Police Station, Bharwari. Umesh Kumar (48), a resident of Maheshpur village, Ward No. 7, Ramnagar, Bharwari Municipal Council, was a former Pradhan. He was returning to the village from Chakwan at around 8.30 pm on Monday evening. During this time, two bikes collided head-on near DDR School.

FIR registered on the complaint of deceased’s brother

After the incident, one bike rider fled with his bike. Meanwhile, former head of Maheshpur village Umesh Kumar, who was riding the other bike, was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital. But, the doctors declared him dead. The news of the former head’s death caused an uproar in the family. On receiving the information of the incident, Kokhraaj police registered an FIR on the complaint of brother Rajneesh and sent the body for post-mortem.

DSP said this in the matter

DSP Awadhesh Vishwakarma said that two bikes collided, in which a former head riding a bike died. The body has been sent for post-mortem. A case has been registered on the complaint of the family members. Further action is being taken in the case.
