Home Minister Amit Shah will go on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, will release BJP’s election manifesto

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on his two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir starting from Friday. During this time Shah will launch the BJP’s election campaign and release the party’s manifesto. Shah’s visit comes at a time when the BJP is facing challenges ahead of the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Many leaders and workers are protesting and some of them are leaving the saffron party after not getting tickets.

“Amit Shah is coming to Jammu on a two-day visit from Friday. He will arrive in the late afternoon from Delhi. On the first day of his visit, Shah will release the party’s manifesto here at 4 pm. In the evening, he will chair a meeting with party leaders and meet a delegation of party workers. Shah will officially launch the BJP’s campaign from Jammu, where he will address a rally in the city on Saturday,” a senior leader told PTI.

Let us tell you that his visit to Jammu is considered important in view of the resentment within the BJP over ticket distribution in the Union Territory. This has prompted the party to calm the situation by deploying several top leaders, including Union ministers, last week to compensate for the loss. Jammu district has 11 assembly constituencies, which is very important for the BJP. The party had won nine of these seats in the 2014 elections, taking its total number to 25. The purpose of Shah starting the campaign from Jammu is to assure the people of the region about the BJP’s commitment to their welfare and development.

Officials said security has been beefed up in and around Jammu ahead of Shah’s visit. They said multi-layered security arrangements have been made at two locations, including a media centre set up by the BJP at a hotel in the Channi area. Preparations, including security measures, are underway for Shah’s rally at Palora Top. Sanitation drives have been carried out and control protocols have been implemented in the area.

Amit Shah’s program will be like this

Amit Shah will address a rally of BJP workers at Paloura in Jammu at 11 am on Saturday. The Home Minister will land at around 2 pm. After this, he will go to the guest house on Canal Road. After this, at around 5 pm, he will release the election manifesto at a hotel in Jammu.
