Hit streaming show ‘Dimension 20’ is rare to go with a brand new season of ‘Misfits and Magic’

“Dimension 20” — the hit tabletop role-playing game shows that Sold out live gig at Madison Square Garden — is back with a new season.

The trailer for the new series marks a return to the Harry Potter series’ popular parody “Misfits and Magic” in which four American exchange students discover some wizardry at the British wizarding school Gauppen’s Academy of Arcane Arts.

This second season of “Misfits and Magic” picks up three years after the events of its first season and the game is mastered by Abria Iyengar, who is known for his enigmatic storytelling. “Critical Role” and the podcast “Worlds Beyond Numbers.”

Even the original Misfits reprise their roles.

Brennan Lee Mulligan“D20’s” regulars return as the game master, Evan Kelmpp, an orphan from Millersburg, Iowa; Lou Wilson — also a key member of the original “D20” cast — returns as Whitney Jammer; high school basketball player from Chicago; And Erica Ishii and Daniel Redford will return to play their characters, K, an online fangirl who aspires to magical excellence, and Sam Black, an online streamer from Portland.

“D20” concluded its run of “Never Stop Blowing Up,” a 10-episode action-movie-infused series helmed by Mulligan.

And there is a lot to look forward to for “D20” fans in the coming months.

“There’s a lot coming down the pipe. I am very excited. Some worlds are being revisited, some worlds are brand new,” Mulligan told Business Insider in August. “Look forward to some big announcements for 2025, and I’ll see you at Madison Square Garden in January.”

The second season of “Misfits and Magic” will begin on September 25. It will have 11 episodes, which will air weekly on Wednesdays.
