Heavy rain and winds at speed of 40 KM/h, cyclonic circulation forming in Gujarat, IMD alert for these districts

Monsoon seems to be more kind to Gujarat this year. So far, the state has received 2% more rainfall than the average and now once again a period of heavy rain is about to begin. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain in Gujarat till August 27. The reason for this is cyclonic circulation, due to which most of the districts of Gujarat will receive heavy rain. Fishermen have also been alerted not to go into the sea.

Winds will blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour

According to the Meteorological Department, the wind speed in coastal areas will be up to 40 kilometers per hour these days. Let us tell you that 73.75 percent rainfall has been recorded in Gujarat this season. Which is 2 percent more than the average rainfall of the season. The highest rainfall in the state so far has been recorded in Kutch at 88.97 percent, South Gujarat at 88.38 percent, Saurashtra at 81.40 percent, Central East Gujarat at 57.90 percent and North Gujarat at 54.78 percent.

Predicting rain in Gujarat for the next one week, Meteorological Department scientist Ramashrya Yadav said that heavy rains have been predicted in Dahod, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli on 22 August. There is an alert of heavy rain in Narmada, Bharuch, Valsad, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli on 23 August.

On the other hand, heavy rains may occur in Dahod, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli on 24 August. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains have been forecast in Dahod, Mahisagar, Kheda, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli of Gujarat on 25 August.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in South Gujarat on 26 and 27 August in Gujarat. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Surendranagar, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Botad, Porbandar, Junagadh, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Kutch and Diu of Saurashtra.
