Everyone is surprised by the exploits of the serial killer who has been arrested in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He used to propose to middle-aged women when he saw them alone and when the woman rejected his proposal, he would get so angry that he would even kill her. He would first kill the woman by strangling her and then tie a knot in her neck with a sari so that there is no chance of her surviving. Ever since this case has been revealed, only one question is arising in people’s minds that how did Kuldeep Kumar Gangwar, who killed nine women within a radius of 25 kilometers of Bareilly, become so dreaded?

Police had arrested Kuldeep Kumar Gangwar in connection with the murders of women in Sheeshgarh and Shahi police station areas. He is a resident of Bakarganj village in Nawabganj police station area. During interrogation, accused Kuldeep told that he has two sisters, while his mother has died. He told that his father Baburam had married another woman while his mother was alive. After that, he often used to beat his first wife at the behest of the second wife. This was the reason due to which the accused had a feeling of hatred towards his stepmother and due to this he started making women of that age his victims.

The accused got married in 2014

The accused told the police that he was married in the year 2014. He did not behave normally with his wife either. And when his wife opposed this, he did not spare her either. He used to beat her too. Troubled by his violent nature, his wife also left him a few years ago and never returned. Due to all these reasons, Kuldeep Gangwar became frustrated and started consuming cannabis, sulpha, alcohol etc. and left his home in Bakarganj and started wandering from village to village in the nearby forests.

He used to target a woman only after seeing her alone

Accused Kuldeep has confessed before the police that he raped six women Murder Kuldeep has complete knowledge of the deserted farm roads and footpaths of the nearby area. He used to roam on them all day long and would attack only when he saw a woman alone in a deserted place. Before attacking, he would make sure that no one had seen him following the woman. If while following the woman, he came across any child, man or other woman on the way, then he would not commit the crime that day. He was working completely like a professional.

He used to murder women in sugarcane fields

The accused killed the women in the sugarcane field. When the police asked the reason for this, he said that the sugarcane field provides cover. The accused also said that if someone passes by even after going 10-5 meters inside the sugarcane field, the person lying inside will not be detected. That is why he always committed the crime in the sugarcane field.

The accused used to tie a knot of cloth around his neck

Not only this, he also wanted to ensure that there is no possibility of the woman surviving. That is why when he killed a woman by strangling her, he tied a tight knot with the sari or dupatta worn around her neck while leaving the place. He said that if she survived, she would identify him and later tell the police about the entire incident.

The serial killer did not have a mobile phone

Police said that accused Kuldeep Kumar never used a mobile phone nor did he use any vehicle or means for commuting. He used to roam around on foot and after the murder, he used to take the belongings of his victims as a mark. The accused used to take some or the other belonging of the women he murdered as a mark. When he killed the first woman Anita Devi, he took her voter ID card, red lipstick, red bindi, a piece of blouse worn at the time of the incident with him. Similarly, after killing Premvati, a woman from Anandpur village, he took a sickle with him. Similarly, he took the Aadhar card of Dhanvati, a deceased from Kulcha village, a sickle of Mahmoodan, a deceased from Lakhimpur village in Sheeshgarh police station area, and a bundle of bidis, matchboxes and Rs 130 cash from the deceased in the fifth incident.

22 teams were formed to catch the accused

Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya said that ‘Operation Talaash’ was conducted to arrest this psycho killer, in which 22 teams were formed and this operation was conducted in an area of ​​25 km. For this, more than 600 new cameras were installed and the help of 1500 old CCTV cameras was taken and the data of more than 1.5 lakh mobiles was extracted and put on surveillance, only then the police was able to reach the accused.

After the sketch, the informer gave the information

The way the accused was targeting middle-aged women, it was clear to the police that this was the work of a psycho killer. To understand this, a police team was sent to Mumbai. Voter lists of nearby villages were taken and such people were identified whose lives were in turmoil. After that, the police got information from an informer after the sketch, after which Kuldeep Gangwar (35) son of Baburam was arrested. The accused has also confessed to killing six of these women.
