According to the information, on August 22, the family of a girl from Ghaziabad’s Kavi Nagar police station area had lodged a complaint that a young man named Ashu Chaudhary lured their daughter away from home at 5 pm. Then he snatched her phone and forcibly took her to Rishikesh, where he raped her in a hotel. He also beat her up.

DCP City said this in the matter

DCP City Rajesh Kumar said that a woman had lodged a case of assault, coercion and rape of her daughter in Kavinagar police station. Taking immediate action, the victim’s medical and statement was recorded in the court. On the basis of the statement given in the court, the accused involved were arrested. On the basis of the statement, the victim’s fiancé Ashu Chaudhary had taken the victim with him to Rishikesh.

The victim said that the incident of coercion and rape took place in the hotel. While returning the next day, Ashu called his three friends Aditya Kapoor, Yash Aujal and Mustafa. While returning to Ghaziabad, the three friends also met him. The friends also molested the victim. All the accused have been arrested. No incident of gang rape has taken place.
