A robbery in a jewellery shop in broad daylight in Sultanpur, UP, caused a sensation. Masked miscreants entered the shop and carried out the crime at gunpoint. The robbery incident was captured on the CCTV installed inside the shop, the video of which is going viral on social media. Meanwhile, another video has surfaced, in which the miscreants are seen outside the shop. It can be seen in the video how they are entering the shop one by one. They showed the weapon to an employee standing outside the shop, then grabbed him by the collar and dragged him inside.
In this video of the robbery that took place in Sultanpur Jewellery Shop, it is seen that a middle aged man is standing outside the shop. Perhaps he is an employee of the shop. Meanwhile, five goons wearing helmets and gamchhas on their faces reach there one by one. One goon swiftly takes out a gun from his waist and puts it on the temple of the person standing outside the shop. Then they push him and enter the jewellery shop. After this, they run away in a few minutes with cash and gold and silver jewellery.
The CCTV footage inside the shop shows that this robbery was carried out by five miscreants. Some of these miscreants were wearing helmets while some had covered their faces with cloth. They had pistols in their hands. After stealing gold and silver jewellery and cash from the shop, they fled from the shop.
In another video, the miscreants are seen running away on a bike with a bag. Five people came on two bikes. The bag was full of goods looted from the shop. People standing nearby are mute spectators.
According to the victim businessman Bharat Soni, goods worth about 2 crores have been looted. He told that as soon as they entered the shop, the robbers pointed their guns at them and made everyone present there bow their heads. Then they went straight to the locker and cashbox. Because of bowing their heads, no one could see the robbers’ appearance. Not only this, the robbers also tried to take away the DVR of the CCTV camera installed in the shop. But due to hurry, they were not successful.
After getting the information about this sensational incident, Ayodhya division’s IG Praveen Kumar and SP Soman immediately reached the spot. IG said that dog squad and forensic team have been deployed. Five teams have been formed to catch the criminals. He claimed that soon the criminals will be caught and recovery will be done. Calculations are being done regarding the looted amount.
It is being told that the jewellery shop in which this incident took place is air-conditioned. The outer part of the shop inside the shutter is surrounded by glass and the door is also made of glass. There is a film on this glass due to which the person sitting inside can see everything outside, but the person outside cannot see anything inside. It seems that the miscreants who carried out this incident had done a thorough recce of the shop.
