He cut his wife’s body with an electric cutter and then threw the pieces in different places. He got the idea after watching a Hollywood movie.

Revealing the murder of a woman in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, the police has arrested her husband. Police said that the accused first killed his wife by cutting her with a sickle. Then he cut the body into many pieces using an electric cutter. After this, he filled those pieces in a sack and threw them at different places including the Saryu river. 21 days after the incident, the police succeeded in arresting the accused.

Let us tell you, on 6th August, the police found pieces of a woman’s body in two sacks on the roadside near Kamarihwa village in Kotwali Dehat area. The police were working hard to find the murderer. Dehat Kotwali and SWAT along with other teams were deployed to solve the case. These teams searched the details of about 500 missing women from nearby districts and checked the CCTV cameras installed around the incident spot.

Woman’s murder revealed after 21 days

A suspicious bike was traced on the basis of the photo. After investigation, it was found that this bike belonged to a person from Mohalla Rani Bazar in Gonda Nagar. Linking the incident, grocery businessman Shankar Dayal Gupta, resident of Rani Bazar, was taken into custody and interrogation was started. Initially, he tried to mislead the police. But after strict interrogation, the accused broke down and confessed his crime.

During interrogation with the police, the accused told that his wife used to demand money from him repeatedly. Frustrated by this, he killed his wife by cutting her with a fork. To hide the evidence of the murder, he watched a Hollywood movie and cut the body into many pieces with an electric cutter and saw. Then he threw the body at different places in three times.

Police arrested the accused

The head, palm and other body parts were thrown in the Saryu river near Ayodhya in two installments and other body parts were thrown near Kamarihwa village in Balrampur rural area. SP Vikar Kumar said that the accused has been arrested and the police team that revealed the incident has been given a cash reward of 25 thousand. A letter has also been written to the higher officials.
