Hathras stampede SIT probe, The initial SIT investigation report of the Hathras stampede accident in UP has been submitted. In the ongoing investigation under the leadership of ADG Agra and Aligarh Commissioner, statements of 100 people including DM-SSP have been recorded. The order for SIT investigation was issued from the Chief Minister level only after this accident which took place on the afternoon of July 2. ADG Agra Zone Anupam Kulshreshtha and Divisional Commissioner Chaitra V were given the responsibility of SIT and a report was summoned within 24 hours. The biggest objective in this is to expose the root cause of the accident and the negligence and oversights.

The investigation progressed rapidly

However, this report was to be given on Wednesday itself. But the investigation could not be completed due to the relief and rescue work being ongoing and the arrival of the Chief Minister on Wednesday. The officials asked for three days’ time. The statements of every policeman posted at the site of incident and employees and officers of all other departments, personnel providing preliminary information, ambulance personnel, doctors, doctors conducting postmortem, farmers, eyewitnesses, injured, tehsil and district level officials, DM-SP etc. are included.

The accident happened on June 2, 123 people died

There was a sudden stampede on Tuesday 2 June in the satsang of Bhole Baba organized in village Ratibhaanpur of Thana Sikandrarao area of ​​Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. So far 123 people have died in the stampede. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Hathras on Wednesday regarding this matter. During this, he took complete information from his ministers and MP. He held a meeting with the officials and then went to meet the injured in the hospitals.

Case of culpable homicide registered

The police have registered a case of culpable homicide and other charges against the main sevadar and his other associates in this case. Questions are also being raised about the role of Bhole Baba in this case. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Hathras on Wednesday and met the injured people in the hospital and also inspected the spot. Reporters asked him why Bhole Baba was not made an accused in the case? On this, the Chief Minister said, prima facie a case is filed against those who had applied for permission for the program. After that its scope increases. Whoever is responsible for this will come under its scope.

A three-member commission was formed to investigate the matter.

On the instructions of the Chief Minister, a three-member commission has been constituted on Wednesday for judicial investigation of this case, which will complete the investigation in two months and submit the report. This commission will be headed by retired judge of Allahabad High Court Justice Brajesh Kumar Srivastava. The two other members of the commission include retired IAS officer Hemant Rao and retired IPS officer Bhavesh Kumar Singh.
