After inspecting and reviewing the incident site in Hathras as well as meeting the injured, CM Yogi said through a press conference that he will get to the bottom of the entire incident.

They did not even make any arrangements to take the people to the hospital after the accident.

‘The nature of such people is theft as well as arrogance’

Regarding the politics being done by the opposition leaders on the accident, CM Yogi said that some people have a tendency to find politics even in such sad and painful incidents. Such people are in the nature of theft as well as arrogance. Every person knows with whom the storyteller’s photos are. With whom are his political connections. You must have seen where such stampedes used to happen during rallies in the past and who was behind them. I think it is necessary to get to the bottom of all this. Those who play with the lives of innocent people will also be held accountable.

On the question of no FIR against Bhole Baba, CM Yogi said that prima facie FIR is lodged against those who had sought permission for the application. After this, its scope increases. Certainly, all those who are responsible for this incident will come under its scope.

‘The sevadars also kept pushing people’

CM Yogi said that the seriously injured people told in the conversation that the accident happened when the convoy of the storyteller came on GT Road after the program, a group of women moved towards him to touch him. A crowd followed them and after this they started climbing over each other. The sevadars also kept pushing the people, due to which this accident happened on both sides of GT Road. The most sad aspect of this was that the sevadars who do not allow the administration to enter during such programs, tried to suppress the matter immediately after the accident. But when the administration started the process of taking the injured to the hospital, most of the sevadars ran away from there.
