The police is continuously conducting raids in search of Sujarpal alias ‘Bhole Baba’. Meanwhile, the lawyer of preacher Bhole Baba has made a big claim. He has said that the followers of Baba never touch his feet. He has suspected the involvement of some anti-social elements behind the stampede during the satsang and the death of 121 people.

In fact, the preliminary report claimed that the stampede occurred when a large number of followers, mostly women, reached near preacher Bhole Baba to see him closely and collect his charan raj. 1. Bhole Baba’s lawyer claimed that some anti-social elements hatched a conspiracy. When Narayan Sakar Hari left the venue, his vehicles left, our volunteers and followers failed to understand what was happening due to the conspiracy. This was done under a plan and it should be investigated.

2. When asked about the claims made in the FIR and the preliminary report prepared by the local sub-district magistrate, Singh, a Supreme Court lawyer, denied the allegations and said, “Narayan Sakar Hari’s feet are never touched by his followers. The mention of charan raj is also false. There is no video or photograph of such an act ever.”

3. Advocate AP Singh said that he is representing Baba Bhole and the main organiser of the satsang held in Pulrai village of Sikandrarao police station area. The preacher is not named as an accused in the FIR lodged in connection with the stampede.

4. On the instructions of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Patel, the state government on Wednesday constituted a three-member judicial inquiry commission to investigate the Hathras stampede. The three-member judicial inquiry commission will be headed by Justice (retd) Brajesh Kumar Srivastava of the Allahabad High Court. The other two members include former Indian Administrative Service officer Hemant Rao and former Indian Police Service officer Bhavesh Kumar Singh.

5. According to the official release, the state government has constituted a judicial commission with the consent of the Governor and has asked it to submit a report on five points. These include investigating the permission given by the district administration and compliance of its conditions by the organizers of the event. The commission will also investigate whether this is an accident, a conspiracy or any other planned criminal incident.

6. Post-mortem of the bodies of the victims of the stampede following a satsang in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh revealed that they died due to blood clotting, suffocation and rib injuries due to chest injuries.

7. After the death of 121 people in the stampede in Hathras, two satsangs of Saakar Vishwa Hari Bhole Baba have been cancelled in Agra. One of these satsangs was to be held in Saiya from 4th to 11th July and the other in Shastripuram from 13th to 23rd July.

8. A day after the stampede in Hathras claimed the lives of 121 people, Uttar Pradesh minister Asim Arun on Wednesday said the state government has started working on SOPs for allowing large gatherings to prevent such incidents in future.

9. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday seeking formation of a five-member expert committee under the supervision of a retired judge of the apex court to probe the stampede in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

10. Hathras police is searching for Bhole Baba. On Wednesday, a team reached Bhole Baba’s ashram in Gwalior. A day earlier, the police had reached Mainpuri Ashram but Bhole Baba was not found there.
