On July 10, while hearing a PIL, the Punjab Haryana High Court had directed the Haryana government to open the barricades of Shambhu border within a week. In the petition filed against this order, the Haryana government says that it has kept the road closed in view of restoring law and order. The High Court should not give such an order.
It is believed that on Monday, the Haryana government may demand an early hearing on this petition from the Supreme Court.
