Haryana Assembly Elections: JJP releases first list of 19 candidates

Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) has released the first list of 19 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) has released the first list of 19 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. Let us tell you that Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (ASP) have announced to contest the Haryana elections together. Both the parties had said in a joint statement that the objective of this strategic alliance is to become a strong pillar for the development of the state, inspired by the cultural and political ideologies of Kanshi Ram and Chaudhary Devi Lal.

Who is contesting on how many seats?

JJP will contest on 70 seats and ASP on 20 seats. Dushyant Chautala assured his supporters that past mistakes will not be repeated and ruled out any future alliance with the BJP. The alliance between the Jannayak Janata Party and the Azad Samaj Party is being seen as a strong force in Haryana politics. This alliance has the ambition to make Dushyant Chautala the next Chief Minister of Haryana.

Let us tell you that Dushyant Chautala’s great grandfather Chaudhary Devi Lal played an important role in getting Dr. B.R. Bharat Ratna award. He served as the sixth Deputy Prime Minister of India from 1989 to 1990 and 1990 to 1991. During his tenure, initiatives like Dalit Chaupal provided a platform for the underprivileged. Dushyant Chautala said, ‘Both of us (he and Chandrashekhar Azad) are 36 years old. We will empower farmers and workers.’ Chandrashekhar said, ‘We have worked on this alliance for a long time, and we are ready to take Haryana forward together. We will welcome those who have similar ideology in our alliance.’

The main objective of this alliance is to add a new dimension to the political scenario of Haryana and to win over the Dalit-Jat voters. This alliance is very important because before this, an alliance has already been formed between the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The votes of the Dalit and Jat communities are essentially important in Haryana and this is the reason why various parties are very cautious about the vote bank of these communities.
