Hamirpur: Villagers beat a jackal to death, it had entered the house and attacked the family, 6 people injured

The terror of ferocious wild animals like tiger, leopard, wolf continues in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, in Hamirpur, a jackal entered a house and attacked a family. Half a dozen people were injured in this attack. Angry villagers surrounded the jackal and beat it to death with sticks.

The whole matter is of Bilpur village of Jalalpur police station of the district, where a jackal came out of the jungle and entered the human settlement early in the morning yesterday. This jackal entered a house and injured half a dozen people by biting them. The injured include one woman and five men, who have been admitted to the government hospital for treatment.

In this case, Hamirpur DFO Anil Shrivastava said that a jackal had strayed into the village. It is possible that it might have attacked the villagers out of fear or in self-defense. Some people have been injured in this attack. At present, a team of the forest department has been sent to the spot. The truth will come out after receiving the investigation report.

On the other hand, Jalalpur police station in-charge Umashankar said that till last evening there was no information about jackal attack. If any information comes forward then investigation will be done. By the way, jackals are found in large numbers in the forests of Bundelkhand, which sometimes attack humans.

It is worth noting that people of 35 villages in Bahraich are living in fear due to the terror of wolves. These man-eating wolves have killed about 10 people in the district. At the same time, there is terror of tiger in Pilibhit. A wolf has also been seen in Sultanpur district. Meanwhile, the news coming from Hamirpur has shocked everyone.
