Hamas’ new threat, ‘If Israel does not agree, the hostages will return in coffins’, 101 Israelis are still in the custody of Hamas

After the death of 6 Israeli hostages in Gaza, the pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ceasefire and release the hostages is increasing. After the Israeli PM’s tough stand on Monday, Hamas armed wing warned that if Israel continues military action, the hostages will reach Israeli soil in coffins. He also said that new instructions have been given to the Mujahideen engaged in the security of the hostages.

Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, said in a statement that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s insistence on releasing prisoners by continuing military action instead of a compromise would mean that the hostages would return to their families in coffins.

New instructions given to the Mujahideen

He warned that new instructions had been issued to the Mujahideen guarding the hostages to deal with the Israeli army if it arrived at the place where the hostages were being held.

‘We will settle accounts with Hamas’

Netanyahu had earlier said that the bodies of the six hostages that were found were hanged by Hamas terrorists. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also took a tough stand against Hamas and said that “those who kill hostages do not want any agreement for Gaza ceasefire.” He promised that he would settle accounts with Hamas terrorists. After the death of six hostages, the people of Israel took to the streets and protested, appealing to the PM to release the hostages soon.

Hamas holds 101 hostages

Let us tell you that for the last several months, America, Qatar and Egypt have been trying to mediate to impose a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. But Hamas is adamant on the demand for complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire. On the other hand, Israel is talking about stopping the war only after the complete elimination of Hamas. The people of Israel are very angry at these decisions of Netanyahu. Expressing their displeasure, people are appealing to the government to reach an agreement as soon as possible to bring the hostages home safely. So far, about 1200 people have been killed in this war that has been going on for the last 11 months. About 250 people were taken hostage. It is being told that Hamas still holds more than 100 Israeli citizens hostage.

At the same time, more than 40 thousand Palestinians have died in Gaza so far. About 90 percent of the approximately 23 lakh people have been forced to leave their homes.
