Gujarat will get relief from heavy rains! Deep depression will shift towards Pakistan, IMD gave this information

There has been torrential rain in Gujarat for the last three days, due to which most of the districts are in the grip of floods and news of death of many people has also come to the fore. However, in the meantime, a relief news has come from the Meteorological Department. According to IMD, the worst time for Gujarat will end by the evening of today i.e. 28 August, because tomorrow morning the deep pressure will move towards Pakistan. The deep pressure hovering over Saurashtra and Kutch and North Gujarat regions is expected to move out of the affected areas by this evening.

Gujarat will get relief from heavy rain

According to a report by the Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather system which has been moving westwards at a speed of 10 kmph for the last 6 hours was present over Saurashtra and Kutch till this morning. This position is located north-northeast of Bhuj in Gujarat, about 120 km east-northeast of Nalia in Gujarat and about 320 km east-southeast of Karachi in Pakistan.

As this system continues to move forward, it is expected to gradually move in a west-southwest direction and cross the Saurashtra and Kutch region. By tomorrow morning i.e. 29 August, it is expected to reach the coasts of Saurashtra and Kutch, adjoining areas of Pakistan and the northeastern Arabian Sea. This indicates that the effect of adverse weather conditions affecting Gujarat will reduce significantly by this evening.

Along with this, another low pressure area located over northern areas of Madhya Pradesh and adjoining southern Uttar Pradesh has subsided. Residents of Gujarat have been facing challenging weather for the last few days, but there has been relief as the deep pressure has shifted towards Pakistan. On the other hand, the state government and weather agencies are alert and are issuing timely advisories. Apart from this, they are also making necessary preparations to minimize the impact.

With the deep depression shifting over Pakistan and the Arabian Sea by tomorrow morning, the worst seems to be over in Gujarat, allowing the state to slowly return to normalcy. However, it is important to continue monitoring and follow official advisories until the system completely moves out of the region.
