How to grow capsicum on the roof of your house

1. First of all, buy good quality capsicum seeds from a nursery. You can grow capsicum in a pot or even in a grow bag.

2. Sandy-loam soil with good drainage should be used to grow capsicum. Add organic manure to it and mix everything and keep it in the sun for some time, so that the moisture and insects present in the soil go away.

3. Before planting the seeds in the pot, soak them in lukewarm water for 24 hours. After that, bury the seeds in the soil at a depth of 3 to 4 inches. After planting the seeds, add cow dung manure on top and then add one to two mugs of water. Do not keep the pot in bright sunlight until the seeds germinate. As long as the plant is small, water it only once a day because pouring excess water can spoil the seeds.

4. Add organic fertilizer to the capsicum plant every 20 days. Apart from this, to prevent insects from attacking the plant, spray natural insecticide on the plant. You can use wooden sticks to support the plants.

5. For cultivation of capsicum, the soil pH value should be 6. While the capsicum plant can tolerate temperatures up to 40 degrees. The capsicum plant starts producing 75 days after planting. If we talk about its production, then the production of capsicum crop in 1 hectare is 300 quintals.
