Ground Report: Room smaller than a bathroom, robbery system all around… UPSC students are living a life like hell in Old Rajendra Nagar

After the incident at RAU’s IAS coaching centre in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, the Municipal Corporation is continuously taking action. On Tuesday also, basements of total 9 coaching institutes were sealed. Earlier, 19 centres were sealed. Along with this, MCD has pasted notices on many illegal institutes and encroachment is also being removed from the area. But here the students preparing for UPSC exam are living a life like hell. That is, these future government officials are preparing for this exam by giving a litmus test in places like Old Rajendra Nagar which is submerged in the water of corruption.

of today Ground Report It was also shown on Monday that these students pay a rent of 10 to 15 thousand rupees per month for a room smaller than the bathroom of a house, whereas most of such paying guest rooms are illegal. They neither have fire NOC nor MCD license. Also, double the bill for electricity and water is charged from the students at these places. Apart from this, the coaching centers where these students go have a fee of at least two lakh rupees. And most of them too have been constructed illegally. There are 300 to 400 students in each class and every student has to join a separate private library to study and these libraries are also built in illegal basements, where the lives of students are in danger.

Coaching industry is steeped in corruption from head to toe

Not only this, when these students go to eat at dhabas, they are charged whatever amount they ask for. In return, they are given poor quality and stale food. Think how unfortunate it is that the future IAS officers of our country, who will run the country in future, today reach their destination after spending many years of their lives in this corrupt and inhumane situation. Out of these, only 0.08 percent students pass and 99.92 percent students never become IAS. But they definitely remember throughout their life that this industry of education, this coaching industry worth thousands of crores, is drowned in corruption from head to toe.

Many questions are arising after the accident

In such a situation, many questions arise. Like how are hundreds of coaching centers in this area teaching children in basements? Whereas in these basements they are only allowed to store goods or make car parking. This means that MCD and local administration are putting the lives of these children in danger by taking bribes. The second question is that how are the people running PGs running these hostels by making illegal constructions in their houses?

The third question is that in such inhuman conditions, how can the rent of rooms as small as a bathroom be 10 to 15 thousand rupees? And why have such places not been sealed yet? And finally, what is the Food Department, MCD and local administration doing to stop the poor quality food being sold at exorbitant prices? Think, these are the students who will become IAS officers in the future and will tell how a good citizen of the country should be and they will change the system of this country in the future. But, right now they are struggling in this system which is drowned in corruption.

Everybody wants to earn money by breaking the rules

Actually, you must have heard about a word, greed. This is the greed in which every person in our country is trapped. Today, if you go out on the road, you will find only one thing everywhere and that is corruption and dishonesty. Today, everyone wants to earn more and more money by breaking the rules for corruption. The poor want to get out of poverty. The middle class wants to come to the upper middle class, the upper middle class wants to become rich and the rich want to become even richer. In this race to earn money, people are even trading each other’s lives. And this is the reason that in our country, from morning to evening, there is dishonesty only.
