In Sector 143 of Greater Noida, miscreants entered a house at gunpoint and committed robbery. At the time of the incident, the house owner had gone out with his family to eat ‘Golgappa’. When he returned, he saw that the door of the house was open. As soon as he entered, the miscreants took him hostage. After receiving the complaint, the police reached the spot and is engaged in investigation.
The entire case is of Ecotech-3 police station area, where the house was robbed at gunpoint. After the robbery, the miscreants fled from the spot. After the victim’s complaint, the police have registered a case and are claiming to catch the miscreants soon. At present, this incident has spread panic in the area.
According to the information, a family in Saraswati Enclave of Police Station Ecotech-3 area near Sector-143 had locked the house and went out to eat Golgappa late at night. During this time, a group of miscreants broke the lock and entered the house. After some time, when the house owner returned, he saw that the gate was open. As soon as the victim family entered the house, half a dozen miscreants surrounded them with guns and knives and held them hostage in the house. After this, they fled with cash and jewellery.
After receiving the information, the police force reached the spot. Senior officials also reached the spot and took stock of the situation. CCTV footage etc. is being scanned. Some people have been questioned. However, nothing has been found out yet. Teams have been deployed to search for the miscreants.
Giving information in the case, Additional DCP Central (Noida) said that we have got some strong evidence, we have formed seven teams. The miscreants will be arrested soon.
