There has been a stir in Greater Noida West’s Eco Village Society after 200 people fell ill. The health department team has reached the spot and started investigating the matter. By setting up camps, medicines are being given to the people in the society and water is also being tested.
Due to sudden illness of people in two societies of Supertech Eco Village in Greater Noida West, problems have increased in the entire society. Although all the sick children and individuals have been sent home after treatment, but on receiving continuous complaints of vomiting and diarrhea, the residents of the society have demanded an investigation from the administration and the authority.
People are suddenly falling ill in many towers of Supertech Eco Village 2 Society. Children are most affected by this disease. Society residents said that children have high fever and diarrhea. Society resident Ashish Srivastava said that since Sunday night, children have started complaining of vomiting and dysentery and were also having stomach pain.
Ashish said that we thought that the children must have eaten something outside and this is happening because of it. When we talked to the people of the society, this number kept increasing. About 200 children in the society have been affected by this disease. Everyone has the same symptoms. 2 days ago the society water tank was cleaned and these complaints are coming only after the cleaning.
After the number of children falling ill increased, the district administration came into action. After this, the health department team is camping in the society and examining everyone. The ground water conservation team also took water samples.
CMO Sunil Kumar said that our team had received information that 400 people are ill here. The health department team had come here last night. Some people were treated and today our team has come here again. There is a huge crowd. People are being tested. We have also collected water samples for testing. The authority team has also collected water samples for testing.
Parul, a resident of the society, said that my mother-in-law and daughter are unwell. The tank was cleaned on 31 August. This problem has been occurring since then. A family lives in front of us. Their child is also facing the same problem. It is being said that this has happened due to contaminated water. More than 60 people are ill in our tower itself. More than 200 people must be ill in the entire society. There was a lot of crowd at night and there is a lot of crowd even today.
