Google’s ‘good days’ are over! After ChatGPT, OpenAI launched SearchGPT

OpenAI is working to compete with Google’s age-old supremacy. ChatGPT AI Chatbot maker OpenAI has come up with a search engine named SearchGPT. With this, Microsoft-invested OpenAI will now be able to compete with Google. The company has launched it for selected people.

This search engine is AI based and initially only a few users will be able to access it. You can join its waitlist. The company has given this information in a blog post. Earlier, information about the company’s search engine had come out many times, but the company did not give any official information.

OpenAI gave information in the blog

The company wrote in its blog, ‘We are testing SearchGPT, which is a prototype of a new AI search feature. It will give you fast and timely answers, which will be linked to the relevant source. We are launching it for a small user group, from whom we will get feedback. Which we will be able to connect with ChatGPT.’

For this, the company has collaborated with many major publishers. SearchGPT has been launched at a time when Google is integrating AI in its search. Now when you search on Google, you will get some answers generated by AI. However, many people have not liked the integration of Google’s AI with search.

Will it be able to compete with Google Search?

OpenAI claims that their search tool will provide up-to-date information that is available on the internet. SearchGPT will be able to differentiate itself from ChatGPT because it will have an interface similar to a traditional search engine. Along with this, clickable external links will be available.

OpenAI, led by Sam Altman, will be able to directly challenge Google with the help of this product. This will also affect Google’s business model, which depends on a large number of advertisements. The company earns $175 billion annually through advertising. If OpenAI’s search engine is successful, the company will definitely become a big challenge for Google.
