Gold and silver price latest update: In the Indian bullion market today (Monday), 19 August, the price of gold has increased and the price of silver has also jumped. At the same time, the price of 24 carat gold is currently above Rs 70 thousand per 10 grams and the price of silver is more than Rs 83 thousand per kg. At the national level, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold of 999 purity is Rs 71516. While the price of silver of 999 purity is Rs 83626 per kg.
According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association, on the last business day i.e. on the evening of August 16, the rate of 916 purity i.e. 22 carat gold was Rs 64673 per 10 grams, which has increased to Rs 65509 today, on the morning of August 19.
