Ghazipur: Bolero crushed Kanwariyas walking on foot, 2 minors died, mourning in the family

Two Kanwariyas died in a collision with a speeding Bolero in Ghazipur, UP. Two to three Kanwariyas were injured. This accident happened when the Kanwariyas were going to Baba Dham with Gangajal from Kaithi Markande Dham. Both the deceased Kanwariyas were minors. As soon as the news of the incident was received, there was chaos in their family.

Actually, the whole matter is of Bihariganj Dagra-Mehnajpur road of Khanpur police station area, where last night two Kanwariyas died after being hit by a speeding Bolero car. The accident caused a sensation in the entire area. On receiving the information, the local police reached the spot. Later CO Saidpur reached the spot with the entire force.

According to the information received, on Sunday evening, 15-year-old Matru alias Aditya Rajbhar and 13-year-old Kaushal Rajbhar, residents of Amenda village of the area, left for Baba Dham after taking Ganga water from Kaithi Markandeya Dham. Then at around 9 o’clock in the night, a Bolero full of Kanwariyas from Azamgarh district was coming at a high speed near Bhabhaura turn. It crushed the group of Kanwariyas walking on foot.

People present on the spot said that Matru and Kaushal died on the spot in this accident. Two other kanwariyas were also injured. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. On receiving the news of the accident, a large number of kanwariyas gathered, police force also arrived. Police from Khanpur and Saidpur police station remained on the spot till late night.

The police has taken the bodies of the deceased Kanwariyas in custody and sent them for postmortem. The injured Kanwariyas were also sent to the nearest hospital for treatment. In this regard, CO Saidpur Shekhar Sengar said that a road accident has taken place in which two Kanwariyas have died and two have also been injured. The injured include 16-year-old Shahil son of Nandu Rajbhar and Sundar. Sundar’s condition is serious and he has been referred to Varanasi.
