Ghaziabad: Labourer sleeping on footpath crushed, car riders fled leaving his injured friend behind, both died

A daily wage laborer sleeping on the roadside footpath in Ghaziabad, UP, adjacent to Delhi, was crushed by a car, after which he died. Regarding this incident, the police said on Sunday that the laborer sleeping on the roadside died after being hit by a speeding uncontrolled car while a car passenger also died.

According to the news agency, the police said that a passenger in the car also died due to severe injuries. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police Piyush Kumar Singh said, ‘A speeding car going from Ghaziabad to Meerut collided with a tree, after which it went out of control and ran over laborer Ved Prakash (50) sleeping on the footpath. Ved Prakash died on the spot. The incident happened on Sunday night.

The car driver fled leaving the injured

According to the police, three people in the car fled from the spot, while the fourth, identified as Satya Narayan (42), a resident of Krishna Colony Extension in Delhi’s Narela, was seriously injured. “He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed,” the official said. Police are trying to arrest the absconding driver.

Two people died in a car accident in Gurugram too

Let us tell you that in Gurugram too, two students died in a car accident on Sunday. Early Sunday morning, a car went out of control and collided with a tree in which a girl and a boy died. Three other friends were injured. The injured are being treated in the hospital. An FIR has been registered in Sector 40 police station in connection with this car accident.

According to the police, the five students in the car were studying in different institutions. The deceased were identified as Ishaan (23) and Bhavya (22). Police said that Ishaan was a BBA student at Northcap University, Gurugram, while Bhavya was studying law from Mumbai.
