Method of Worship of Gajanan Sankashti Chaturthi
On the day of Sankashti Chaturthi, take a vow to fast after taking a bath in the morning. Worship Lord Ganesha with full rituals. Offer him sesame seeds, jaggery, laddus and sandalwood. Gajanan is also very fond of Durva and Modak, so do not forget to offer these things. After this, one should chant the mantra ‘Om Gan Ganpataye Namah’, read Ganesh Stuti, Ganesh Chalisa and Sankat Chauth Vrat Katha. After the puja is over, definitely read the aarti of Ganesha.
