Northern Railway has changed the names of eight railway stations of Lucknow division of Uttar Pradesh, which include the names of Jais Station, Akbarganj Station, Fursatganj Railway Station, Warisganj Halt Station, Nihalgarh Station, Bani Railway Station, Misrauli Station and Kasimpur Halt Station. All these railway stations will now be known by the names of religious places, great men and spiritual gurus. Now we are telling you about the local connection of the new names of these stations.

In a circular issued by Northern Railway, Deputy Commercial Manager Hari Om said that Kasimpur halt station will be named Jais City. Jais railway station will be named after Guru Gorakhnath Dham. Mishrauli station will be known as Maa Kalikan Dham. Apart from this, the new railway station has been named Swami Paramhans Station. Here, Nihalgarh station has been named after Maharaja Bijli Pasi. Akbarganj station will now be known as Maa Ahorva Bhavani Dham, while Warisganj halt station will be named Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultan. Fursatganj railway station has been renamed as Tapeshwar Dham.

Fursatganj will now be Tapeshwar Dham station

The Fursatganj railway station in Amethi will be known by the name of Tapeshwar Dham. Tapeshwar Dham is in Bahadurpur of Amethi. It is believed that the Shivling installed there is self-manifested. Many attempts were made to build a temple here, but the temple could not be built. In view of this penance of Lord Bholenath, this temple has been named Tapeshwar Nath Dham. This temple is about 35 kilometers away from the district headquarters.

Mishrauli will be Maa Kalikan Dham station

Mishrauli station is named after Maa Kalikan Dham Shaktipeeth located in Sangrampur block of Amethi. It is believed that eye diseases are cured by taking bath in the pond present here. Also, this is the place of penance of Chyavan Muni.

Kasimpur halt will be Jais station

Kasimpur Halt station will be named Jais City. Jais is a town in Amethi. Malik Mohammad Jaisi, who wrote Padmavat, was a resident of Jais.

Jais will be Guru Gorakhnath station

At the same time, Jais railway station will now be known as Guru Gorakhnath. Guru Gorakhnath was the first yogi of the Nath sect. Guru Gorakh traveled all over India and wrote many books. His temple is located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, whose head is Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Swami Paramhans station will be built

Bani Railway Station is named after Swami Paramhansa. Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa was a great saint, spiritual guru and thinker. He was from Bengal. He stressed on the unity of religions.

Nihalgarh became Maharaja Bijli Pasi Station

Apart from this, Nihalgarh station of Amethi has been named after Maharaja Bijli Pasi. Maharaja Bijli Pasi was the king of the Pasi community. According to the British gazetteers of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, Maharaja Bijli Pasi was a contemporary of Prithviraj Chauhan and Jaichand.

Akbarganj will be Maa Ahorva Bhavani Dham station

Akbarganj station in Raebareli has been renamed as Maa Ahorva Bhavani Dham. Maa Ahorva Bhavani Dham temple is located in Amethi, UP. It is believed that this temple was established by the Pandavas themselves. It is said that the idol of the goddess installed in this temple changes its form three times a day.

Warisganj halt became martyr Bhale Sultan

Warisganj Halt station has been named after Shaheed Bhale Sultan. There was a group of Shaheed Bhale Sultans who played an important role in the country’s independence. If historians are to be believed, in the war of 1857-58, Bhale Sultans sacrificed their lives to liberate the country. It is said that Bhale Sultans defeated the British seven times on the battlefield.
