Frustrated at not getting a job, a computer teacher called himself a Pakistani agent and threatened to blow up the school in IIT campus

Frustrated at not getting a job despite being educated, an unemployed youth threatened to blow up the school in Indore IIT campus. After receiving information, the police arrested the youth who threatened. The accused had sent a threatening message via email and claimed to be a member of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and said that on the coming 15th August (Independence Day), the Kendriya Vidyalaya located in IIT Campus Simrol would be blown up with a bomb.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Hitika Vasal said that a man named Chetan Soni (30), resident of Amrit Kunj Colony on Aerodrome Road in the city, has been arrested. He had sent an email threatening to blow up the school with a bomb. Chetan, who has done Master of Computer Application (MCA), had filled the form for the post of technician in Kendriya Vidyalaya, but he could not get selected.

The police officer said that Chetan Soni completed his studies in the year 2015, but despite many efforts he remained unemployed, due to which he became frustrated. Frustrated by not getting a job, he threatened the principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya located in the Indian Institute of Technology IIT campus last month through email that the educational institution would be blown up with a bomb on 15 August.

After the school administration filed a complaint, the police arrested the accused Chetan Soni. The SP said that the police is investigating the matter in depth.
