Hindi cinema actress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Mandi Lok Sabha seat of Himachal, Kangana Ranaut, remains in the headlines every day for her statements. Her statements have sparked controversies many times from the entertainment to the political world. She has also made allegations against many big faces of the country. Kangana Ranaut has once again given a controversial statement on farmers, after which a debate has started in the political corridors.

This time, after Kangana Ranaut’s statement, the Bharatiya Janata Party had to issue a press release. The party said, ‘Kangana’s statement is not the statement of the BJP. The BJP expresses disagreement with Kangana Ranaut’s statement. On behalf of the party, Kangana Ranaut is neither allowed nor authorized to make statements on the party’s policy issues. Kangana Ranaut has been directed by the BJP not to make any such statements in future.’

When did Kangana get into controversies regarding her statements?

Controversial statement on farmers’ movement

During the farmers’ agitation against the three agricultural laws brought by the central government, Kangana Ranaut misidentified an 80-year-old woman farmer from Punjab as Bilkis Bano. In a social media post by Kangana, an elderly woman was seen who was walking bent, but she was holding the flag of the farmers’ movement high. Her name was Mohinder Kaur.

Kangana tweeted Mohinder Kaur’s picture and wrote, “Ha ha… this is the same grandmother who was included in Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people and she is available for Rs 100.”

However, Kangana Ranaut later deleted this tweet. Let us tell you that the Bilkis Bano mentioned by Kangana is an 82-year-old woman and she made international headlines during the CAA Protest in Shaheen Bagh area of ​​Delhi.

A female constable of CISF at Chandigarh airport had claimed that she was angry with Kangana’s statement and said that her own mother had also participated in the farmers’ movement. During this, the constable had slapped Kangana.

Statement related to drugs on Rahul Gandhi

In July this year, during the Parliament session, Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had mentioned Shiva and the Chakravyuh of the Mahabharata story. After this, Kangana Ranaut had commented on Rahul Gandhi and said, ‘The kind of crazy things he talks about, he should be investigated whether he takes drugs.’

Kangana also shared a video of such a statement on her social media account.

Kangana has also clashed with Uddhav Thackeray

When Uddhav Thackeray was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had bulldozed some parts of Kangana’s house, calling it illegal. In this case, the actress had fiercely attacked Uddhav Thackeray. She had posted a video on social media and said, “Uddhav Thackeray, what do you think, you have taken a big revenge on me by breaking my house. Today my house is broken, tomorrow your pride will be broken. Remember, this is the wheel of time, it does not always remain the same.”

Questions raised on Swami Avimukteshwaranand Shankaracharya

Recently, Kangana Ranaut had also raised questions on Shankaracharya. In the month of July, she had raised questions on Shankaracharya. During this time, Kangana had come out in support of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Jyotirmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati had said that Uddhav Thackeray is a “victim of betrayal”. Religion also says that if the king himself starts exploiting his subjects, then treason is the ultimate religion.

Following this, Kangana Ranaut, taking a dig at Shankaracharya, had said in a social media post that Swami Avimukteshwarananda had “hurt everyone’s sentiments” by calling Shinde a “traitor” and “traitor”. “It is very normal and constitutional to have alliances, pacts and party splits in politics. The Congress party split in 1907 and again in 1971. If a politician does not do politics, will he sell pangappas?”

He had said, “Shankaracharya ji has misused his words and his influence. He has hurt the sentiments of all of us by using derogatory words against Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and accusing him of being a traitor and treacherous.”

After this post, Kangana’s supporters and opponents clashed with each other on social media.

‘Real freedom was achieved in 2014’

In an interview given to a TV channel in the year 2021, Kangana Ranaut had said, ‘India got independence as a beggar in 1947, the country got real independence in the year 2014.’

Kangana Ranaut has made many controversial statements about nepotism in Hindi cinema. She has attacked Bollywood producer and director Karan Johar many times. Kangana once called Karan Johar the flag bearer of nepotism while speaking on his show ‘Koffee with Karan’.

Shabana Azmi was called a part of ‘tukde-tukde gang’

Kangana Ranaut has also attacked the famous Hindi film actress Shabana Azmi. Shabana Azmi’s visit to Pakistan was scheduled during the Pulwama terrorist attack in 2019. On this, Kangana had said about Shabana that such people stand with the ‘tukde-tukde gang’.
