Friendship through gay app, then homosexual relationship… Head constable killed the man when there was a dispute over money

The murderer of a gay man in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh turned out to be none other than the head constable of the traffic police who had a homosexual relationship with him. Lucknow police has solved this entire case after 7 months of investigation. Police said that the two had met through the gay app Grindr.

The family had accused four friends and a female friend of murder

Police said that the family of the deceased Kaushik had accused his four friends and a female friend of murder. But when the police investigated, the matter turned out to be something else. In this case, DCP East Shashank Singh told the media that Head Constable Ravindra Pal posted in the Traffic Police Line and the deceased had met through the Gay Grinder app.

Both of them came in contact through this app and then they met in a room. But there was a dispute between them regarding money and then traffic constable Ravindra Pal killed the deceased by poisoning his alcohol after taking him into confidence. After this, under the cover of dense fog and darkness, the body was thrown on the side of the railway track at night.

The secret was revealed from call details and WhatsApp chat

The DCP said that the cause of death could not be confirmed in the postmortem report. After which, the examination of the viscera revealed that Kaushik died due to consuming poisonous substance. After this, the location of the deceased’s mobile, CCTV footage and call details were also investigated. In which a number was found suspicious. Kaushik had chatted on WhatsApp on this number. Investigation revealed that this number belongs to Head Constable Ravindra Pal Singh posted in the Traffic Police Line.

After which he was called to the Cantt police station several times for questioning but he did not come. After this a notice had to be issued to him. After which he came for questioning. During the interrogation, Ravindra Pal could not answer any question properly and started talking evasively. When the mobile was checked, his chatting with the youth was deleted, then the suspicion of the police deepened. When the police interrogated him strictly, he revealed the whole truth. After which Ravindra Pal was arrested and then sent to jail.
