Simdega, June 17 (Language) Four people have been arrested with 155 kg of ganja worth about Rs 20 lakh in Simdega district of Jharkhand.
Talking to media persons, Simdega Superintendent of Police (SP) Saurabh said they had received information that a large consignment of ganja was being transported from Odisha to Uttar Pradesh.
“A team was formed under the leadership of sub-divisional police officer Pawan Kumar and during a intensive checking drive, the vehicle carrying ganja was intercepted on Sunday,” he said. PTI Kor San RG
