Former BSP MLA Aslam Chaudhary arrested in Ghaziabad, had demanded extortion of Rs 2 crore

Ghaziabad Police has arrested former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA and SP leader Aslam Chaudhary. He is accused of trying to grab land worth crores of rupees through a fake agreement with his associates. Not only this, he also demanded two crore rupees from the land owner in exchange for giving up this possession.

The former BSP MLA had come to occupy land worth crores on the basis of a fake agreement on September 7, 2022. He had also demanded extortion of Rs 2 crore from the land owner Adil Raja in exchange for leaving the land.

The Ghaziabad Police Commissioner took cognizance of the matter on September 3, 2023 and registered an FIR in this regard, on the basis of which the police filed a charge sheet and the court issued a non-bailable warrant against Aslam Chaudhary and his associates Junaid Tata and Zuber Tata.

Let us tell you that Aslam Chaudhary had won the 2017 elections on a BSP ticket from the Dhaulana assembly seat of Hapur. After that, in 2021, he joined the Samajwadi Party and SP has made him the secretary of the state executive in the month of July itself.
