- To reset IRCTC password, first go to the official website.
- Enter the previously created IRCTC Login ID there.
- After this you will have to click on Forgot password.
- After this you will have to enter your registered email ID.
- After entering the email ID, you will have to enter IRCTC user ID, bird date and captcha.
- After this, the password reset link will be sent to your registered email ID.
- As soon as you click on that link, you will see the option to change the password.
- Here you have to first enter the old password and then the new password.
- Make sure to include alphabets, numbers and special characters in your password.
- After this your new password will be created.
- You can login again and book tickets from IRCTC app.

- Go to the home page here and click on Register.
- After this you will have to enter your personal details.
- After personal details, you will have to enter the address.
- After this click on register.
- Your IRCTC account will be created.
- You can login and book tickets.
