Fond of stylish clothes and shoes and desire to eat in expensive restaurants… when a 10th class student cheated senior MPPSC candidates

To fulfill his expensive desires like buying stylish clothes and shoes and eating in posh restaurants, a 10th class student duped government job aspirants. Candidates preparing for competitive exams were duped on the pretext of selling the leaked paper of Madhya Pradesh Civil Services i.e. MPPSC pre-examination. This is a case from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

The MP police investigating this cyber crime was surprised when the suspect caught in the fraud case turned out to be a 10th class student. During interrogation, it was found that this student hailing from Rajasthan had also committed fraud on the pretext of selling National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) papers.

Created a channel on Telegram

ACP Tushar Singh said that the student of Jhunjhunu district had created a channel on the social media platform Telegram. He claimed to have access to the paper of the preliminary examination of MPPSC held on June 23 and offered to sell it at the rate of Rs 2500 per paper. He gave a QR code on the Telegram channel for payment through UPI.

Payment was made on QR code

As soon as a person made payment through this QR code in the greed of getting the State Service Examination paper, the student would block the mobile number of that buyer. The student duped two to four candidates by this method of fraud.

False claim of paper leak

The student did not have any leaked papers of the State Service Examination and he made false claims of paper leak to cheat candidates. The student says that he learned the tricks of online cheating on YouTube. With the money he cheated, he wanted to buy expensive clothes and shoes and also wanted to fulfill his hobby of eating in expensive restaurants.
