Focus on youth-Jat-Dalit equation and 70-20 formula, JJP-ASP alliance announced for Haryana elections

Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (ASP) have announced their alliance to fight the upcoming Haryana elections together. The two parties said in a joint statement that the aim of this strategic alliance is to become a strong pillar for the development of the state, inspired by the cultural and political ideologies of Kanshi Ram and Chaudhary Devi Lal.

Dushyant Chautala said that this alliance will raise voice for the rights of farmers and laborers. He said that our priority includes legal guarantee of MSP (minimum support price) for farmers and ensuring fixed minimum wages for daily wage workers. The JJP and ASP alliance also talked about focusing on quality education. Dushyant Chautala and Chandrashekhar Azad vowed to take along all sections of the society and unite all 36 communities (biradari) in each assembly constituency.

Let us tell you that Dushyant Chautala’s great grandfather Chaudhary Devi Lal played an important role in getting Dr. B.R. Bharat Ratna award. He served as the sixth Deputy Prime Minister of India from 1989 to 1990 and 1990 to 1991. During his tenure, initiatives like Dalit Chaupal provided a platform for the underprivileged. Dushyant Chautala said, ‘Both of us (he and Chandrashekhar Azad) are 36 years old. We will empower farmers and workers.’ Chandrashekhar said, ‘We have worked on this alliance for a long time, and we are ready to take Haryana forward together. We will welcome those who have similar ideology in our alliance.’
