In Bijnor, UP, the police has arrested the five accused in the case of gangrape of a 22-year-old girl after making her father drink alcohol. The arrested people are accused of raping and making a video of the incident. On the basis of the complaint of the rape victim, the police said that this incident of brutality took place on the night of 9 August.
A video of the gang rape was made
Police said the victim had alleged that the five accused forcefully took her from her house to a secluded spot where they raped her. She also alleged that they made a video of the act and threatened to kill her.
Regarding this incident, Circle Officer Anjani Kumar said that the woman informed the police about the matter when the accused started threatening her that they would post the video on social media.
Police arrested all the accused
Kumar said, ‘The FIR was filed on Wednesday and we were successful in arresting all the accused and their interrogation is going on. He told that all the five accused are from the same village as the rape victim.
The girl’s father was given alcohol before the gangrape
Let us tell you that in her statement, the victim had also told the police that before committing the gangrape, the accused made her father drink a lot of alcohol. When her father became unconscious due to intoxication, the accused picked him up and took him to the garden near the house and committed gangrape on him. They also threatened to kill the entire family.
Initially, the victim kept quiet for a few days due to social stigma. When she came to know that the accused were defaming her in the village by showing her video, she told her family about her ordeal, after which a complaint was lodged at the police station.
