In Ghaziabad, UP, a group of Kanwariyas attacked a wine and beer shop. They vandalized the shop and pelted stones. However, the police had already covered all the liquor shops on the Kanwar route with cloth. But the Kanwariyas said that this shop was open. The video of the vandalism is going viral on social media.

According to the information received, this video is from Sunday evening where a wine and beer shop in Sahibabad police station area was vandalized. In the viral video, Kanwariyas are also chanting slogans. Meanwhile, one Kanwariya picked up a stone from the road and gave it to another. Then that Kanwariya threw that stone at the wine shop, due to which its glass broke.

In this case, ACP Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay said that the local police had received information that some kanwadis had torn the curtains and vandalized the counter of a wine shop being run behind a curtain in the Sahibabad police station area. The police immediately took cognizance of the incident and reached the spot and restored peace and order.

According to ACP- On enquiring about the incident, it was found that this dispute took place regarding closing the wine shop. At present, all aspects of the incident are being investigated, on the basis of which further legal action will be taken.

It is worth noting that earlier, a ruckus was witnessed by the Kanwariyas in Muradnagar of Ghaziabad district. The Kanwariyas had vandalised a Honda City car near the Ravali cut of Muradnagar. The police present on the spot had rescued the people in the car.

It was told that the Kanwar was broken after being hit by a Honda City car near Muradnagar’s Ravali cut. After this, some angry Kanwariyas vandalized the car. Meanwhile, the police say that the driver had come towards the Kanwariyas with the car. The car slightly touched a Kanwariya and he started vandalizing it. However, it did not burn.

Before this, the Kanwariyas had vandalised a car on National Highway-58 in Chhappar police station area. Not only this, when the driver of the car ran towards the dhaba to save himself, the Kanwariyas chased him and beat him up. During the yatra, the Kanwariyas had alleged that the Kanwar was broken due to the car hitting him.
