Israel has killed Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya. Haniyya was targeted in a house in Iran’s capital Tehran. Along with Haniyya, his bodyguard was also killed in the attack. Although Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya has been on Israel’s radar for a long time, but after the bloody attack by Hamas on 7 October 2023, Israel had intensified its efforts to kill him.

2. On April 10, 2024, Haniya’s 3 sons and 3 grandsons were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip.

Israel blew up the house
Let us tell you that Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya attended the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s new President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday (July 30). During this, Haniyya also met Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The very next day (Wednesday), that is, early this morning, Israel blew up the house in which Ismail Haniyya was staying. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a statement saying that the attack was carried out by targeting Haniyya’s hideout in Tehran. In this, along with the Hamas chief, one of his bodyguards was also killed.
