First day of DU: Students reached college with new enthusiasm, seniors gave a grand welcome

The new academic year 2024-25 has started. The children of class 12 have now moved on from their school life to college. After the uniform of school days, now campus fashion gives a new feeling of freedom. A large number of students arrived in DU colleges on the first day of studies.

Students who have taken admission in Delhi University from every corner of the country have been given a warm welcome on the first day. It is the dream of 12th pass students to get admission in DU’s UG course. When these children were given a special welcome on the first day, their happiness doubled. A similar scene was seen in the North Campus on Thursday.

This moment is going to be memorable for the students who have come to study in North Campus after 12th. After this, they have to make their career in some field and come out from here. To make the first day of college memorable, the students of the senior class of the college have also left no stone unturned. In Mirinda House College of North Campus, the seniors not only welcomed the freshers but also took selfies while introducing them. Seeing such an atmosphere, the freshers also got excited.

Most of the parents of the freshers had come to drop them to the college so that they could ensure that their children do not face any kind of ragging but now to prevent such incidents, the university is already prepared along with awareness. Along with this, various student organizations also keep a watch so that such incidents do not happen anywhere. For this, various student organizations were seen welcoming the freshers at the main gate and also helping them.

Freshers were welcomed with sandalwood tilak at DU’s Aurobindo College

Sri Aurobindo College, affiliated to Delhi University, organized an orientation program for students taking admission in the first year in the academic session 2024-25 on Thursday at the seminar hall and other places. The students were welcomed by the college by applying sandalwood tilak. The college principal Professor Vipin Kumar inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp to welcome the new students.
