Two armed assailants opened fire at a sweet shop in Tilak Nagar area of West Delhi. The incident took place outside Singla Sweet Shop at 11 pm on Friday night. This firing created panic in the area. It is being told that the assailants opened fire with the intention of extortion and ransom.
According to information, suddenly two people came on a motorcycle on Friday night and fired bullets on the front glass of the shop and fled from the spot. Four empty cartridges have been recovered from the spot, but there is no news of anyone being injured.

Police engaged in investigation
Police said that an FIR has been registered against unknown people and investigation has been started. Police said that prima facie the case seems to be of extortion. The attackers opened fire to spread fear regarding extortion.
Teams have been formed to gather more information in the case and trace the attackers. The attackers will soon be traced and arrested.

More information regarding the case will be shared after further investigation. Let us tell you that this is not the first time that the attackers have opened fire. Earlier also some attackers had opened fire at a shop located in the area.
