The festival season is about to begin and people return to their homes from different parts of the country to celebrate important festivals like Dussehra-Diwali and Chhath Puja. In such a situation, there is a huge rush in trains every year during the festival season. With the aim of providing smooth travel to the passengers, Indian Railways operates special trains every time during the festival season so that the passengers can reach their destination easily.
In this sequence, in view of the expected rush of passengers during the festival season, Indian Railways has decided to extend the period of operation of Saath Jodi Special trains running under the jurisdiction of East Central Railway. We are giving you the list of all those trains whose operational period has been decided to be extended.
Giving information in this regard, CPRO of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra said that in view of the upcoming festivals and the rush of passengers, the operating period of 07 pairs of special trains is being extended. So that those going home during the festival holidays do not face any inconvenience.
The operating period of these trains has been extended
- Train No. 06085 Ernakulam-Patna Special will now run from Ernakulam every Friday from 13.09.2024 to 29.11.2024.
- Train No. 06086 Patna-Ernakulam Special will now run from Patna every Monday from 16.09.2024 to 02.12.2024.
- Train No. 06059 Coimbatore-Barauni Special will now run from Coimbatore every Tuesday from 10.08.2024 to 26.11.2024.
- Train No. 06060 Barauni-Coimbatore Special will now run from Barauni every Friday from 13.09.2024 to 29.11.2024.
- Train No. 06063 Coimbatore-Dhanbad Special will now run from Coimbatore every Friday from 13.09.2024 to 29.11.2024.
- Train No. 06064 Dhanbad-Coimbatore Special will now run from Dhanbad every Monday from 16.09.2024 to 02.12.2024.
- Train No. 02832 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Special will now run daily from Bhubaneswar from 30.09.2024 to 30.12.2024.
- Train No. 02831 Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special will now run daily from Dhanbad from 01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024.
- Train number 05573 Saraigarh-Deoghar Special will now be operated from Saraigarh daily from 05.09.2024 to 30.09.2024.
- Train number 05574 Deoghar-Saraigarh Special will now be operated from Deoghar from 05.09.2024 to 30.09.2024 daily.
- Train number 03201 Rajgir-Patna Special will now be operated from Rajgir daily from 01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024.
- Train number 03202 Patna-Rajgir Special will now be operated from Patna daily from 01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024.
- Train number 03206 Patna-Kiul Special will now be operated from Patna daily from 01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024.
- Train No. 03205 Kiul-Patna Special will now run from Kiul daily from 01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024.
