27-year-old Rukhsar, a resident of Pilkhuwa in UP’s Hapur, died under suspicious circumstances in Dasna, Ghaziabad. The deceased woman’s husband Shahnawaz informed his in-laws about this. The family buried Rukhsar’s body in a cemetery in Hapur itself. But, the deceased’s 5-year-old child revealed the secret of his mother’s murder to his grandmother.
After this, Shahnawaz has been arrested on the complaint of the family. Also, in the presence of Magistrate Lavi Tripathi, the body of the deceased was taken out of the grave and sent for post-mortem. According to the information, the deceased Rukhsar was married to a youth named Shahnawaz, a resident of village Salai, about 8 years ago. After marriage, the woman had two children, including an elder daughter Alisa, 7 years old, and a 5-year-old son Uzair.

The son revealed the secret 3 days after his death
Whereas, 3 days after the woman’s death, her 5-year-old son Uzair told that at night, Papa had beaten his Ammi (Rukhsar). He put a pillow on Ammi’s mouth and sat on her. This caused her death. After this, the deceased’s brother lodged a complaint in the local police station. In the complaint, he told that Shahnawaz used to beat his sister since marriage.
Accused husband Shahnawaz has been arrested
She stayed at her maternal home for 8 months and after mutual consent, she started living with her husband in her in-laws’ house. But, on the night of 19 August, the husband murdered Rukhsar. But, Shahnawaz told him that she died due to illness, after which Rukhsar was buried in the cemetery. At present, the police have registered a case of murder in Mussoorie police station and arrested the accused husband Shahnawaz.
